The GROSS GHZ 3–6 is a compact horizontal shredder for long pieces of wood such as battens, square timbers and profiles. The horizontal feed system enables continuous processing directly at the machining centre or within a production line. This enables waste pieces to be reliably shredded without the need for long transport distances.

Technical specifications
The material is placed on a vibrating chute and continuously conveyed to the feed roller. This picks up the residual pieces and feeds them in a controlled manner to the rotor. There, moving cutting blades shred the material against a fixed counter-blade. A screen retains larger pieces within the cutting chamber and determines the desired final particle size of the outgoing material.
