The GROSS GAZ 2000 is a versatile single-shaft shredder for wood waste, plastic waste and other production residues. It is 50 cm wider than the GAZK 1500. The generous feed opening allows even whole pallets to be fed into the machine. A powerful drive, controlled material feed and interchangeable screens ensure reliable shredding with a defined particle size. This makes the GAZ 2000 suitable for industrial applications and demanding throughput requirements.

Technical specifications

The material is fed into the feed hopper by hand, by forklift or via a conveyor system. A hydraulic pusher feeds it in a controlled manner to the slow-rotating rotor. The cutting blades attached to the rotor grip the material and shred it against the stationary counter-blades.

As soon as the pieces have reached the desired size, they fall through the screen fitted below the rotor. The mesh size of the screen determines the final particle size. A conveyor belt then transports the shredded material to the next stage of processing. The screen basket can be hydraulically tilted downwards for easy access during cleaning and maintenance.
