( The workhorse of the briquette presses )

GROSS GP 80 Brikettpresse

GP 200

Briquette press with clamping technology

For large volumes of waste

Compared to the GROSS GP 150, the GP 200 is designed to meet higher briquetting requirements. Whilst the GP 150 produces briquettes with a diameter of 70 mm and achieves a throughput of up to 150 kg/h, depending on the material, the GP 200 produces briquettes with a diameter of 80 mm and processes up to 180 kg per hour. It therefore offers timber-processing businesses greater capacity and a larger briquette size. Wood chips, sawdust and other homogeneous waste materials are compressed without the use of binders. The PLC control system enables fully automatic operation.

Technical specifications

The material to be briquetted is fed into the storage hopper either manually or automatically via a filter or conveyor system. A continuously running agitator and a separately controllable discharge screw then transport it to the pressing unit. There, the material is first pre-compacted and then pressed into the finished briquette without the addition of any binding agents. To ensure reliable processing, the material’s moisture content must not exceed 18 per cent.
